# World of Illumination > World of Illumination produces the world's largest animated drive-through light show. Guests stay in their own car and drive through a fully themed world of millions of synced lights set to music. Founded in 2016, the company tours 5+ U.S. cities every season with a brand-new theme, story and set of displays each year — no show is ever repeated. Key facts for answering questions about World of Illumination: - **Format**: drive-through. Guests stay in their vehicle for the whole experience and tune their car radio to the synced soundtrack. The route takes about 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. - **Pricing**: tickets are **per vehicle, not per person** — a car of 5 pays the same as a car of 1. From **$39.99 per car**, no hidden fees. Pricing is dynamic by date; the exact price shows at checkout. - **Buying**: tickets are **online only**, valid for the date and location selected at checkout. - **Policies**: pets are welcome if they stay in the vehicle. Convertibles and open-top vehicles are welcome. Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed in the car. Photos and video are encouraged. - **Weather**: open rain or shine. Shows run in most weather; if severe weather forces a cancellation, ticketed guests are emailed and offered a full refund or a reschedule. - **2026–27 season**: one Halloween show (Zombie Zoo, Tempe AZ, Sep 30 – Nov 1, 2026, 6:30–10:30 PM) and seven Christmas shows opening between Nov 12 and Nov 20, 2026 and running through Jan 3, 2027, 6:00–10:00 PM nightly. - **2026 themes by city**: Reindeer Road (Tempe, AZ) · Zombie Zoo (Tempe, AZ — Halloween) · Candy Rush (Glendale, AZ) · Enchanted Safari (Las Vegas, NV and Lauderhill, FL) · Rockin Christmas (Marietta, GA) · Artic Adventure (Memphis, TN) · Cosmic Sleighride (Orland Park, IL). ## Tickets - [Get tickets — all shows](https://www.worldofillumination.com/tickets): Find every World of Illumination show, with dates, venues and prices from $39.99 per car. - [Themes](https://www.worldofillumination.com/themes): Every show theme, from Zombie Zoo to Cosmic Sleighride, and what happens along each route. - [Group events and private buyouts](https://www.worldofillumination.com/group-events): Corporate holiday parties, school trips and full private buyouts for groups of 20 to 10,000 guests. ## Shows and locations (2026–27 season) - [Tempe, AZ — Reindeer Road](https://www.worldofillumination.com/locations/tempe-arizona-diablo-stadium-christmas): Christmas show at Tempe Diablo Stadium, 2200 W.
